| Christmas is one of my most favorite times of the year! Everything in preparation for it!!! From the second Thanksgiving is over, bring on the mistletoe and holly! The devotionals, the cookie making, the caroling, the sappy movies, time with family and friends, traditions, eggnog, hot chocolate, Christmas lights, goodies for the fire and police department (a family tradition), gift-giving, shopping, the nativity, the magic and wonder, the feel-good spirit, the giving and love, and the gift and sacrifice of our Lord, Jesus Christ. One of my most favorite traditions that Cameron and I have started as a family is to in cooperate a gift under our tree for the Christ child. I found that in recent years, this has changed the spirit of Christmas and the spirit I feel throughout the rest of the year significantly. It has become something I can do to bring the spirit of Christmas into my every day life. Here are a bunch of pictures from this year's Christmas Day celebration!  |
