February 6th
The birthday girl!!! We had a lazy morning in bed as mom spent much of the morning with her head in the toilet yet again! Almost over!
Doc put me on a modified bed rest earlier this week as well...due to high levels of protein in the urine and passing out when puking. We decided to take things easy as she was going to do a C-section the morning of the 6th if things hadn't calmed down and we had Laila's big party on the 7th we were hoping we'd be able to do as well. Luckily things calmed down and we were able to let baby cook a little longer. Put a damper a bit on the birthday week celebrations but we made up for it Saturday. :)
Saturday, February 7th
WELCOME SESAME STREET

Really we went "big" for this party because we wanted to have a party for L before little sister was born, celebrate our last moments of just her with us. And because we have felt so super fortunate to have so many friends around us. I'm sad I didn't get more pictures of Laila-bug with her friends. We wanted a chance to celebrate and say thank you for the friendships and support we have made and we have felt here in Seattle. We wanted to have a party and dinner just to say thanks. So thanks! :) friends, family, laila's grandparents...EVERYONE near and far! We love you! Seriously the luckiest.
